madegood is about bringing people, skills and resources together so useful ideas can become work that makes a difference locally.

We are seeking partners and agreements, and working with community organisations to move proofs of concept into manageable trials. Some work is already under way; the wider services and arrangements are still being developed.
The aim is useful local services, opportunities to build skills and, over time, sustainable paid local work. The next steps depend on suitable space, people, resources and clear agreements.
We cannot promise to do everything or achieve every aim. We can start with useful work, be open about where things stand and build from there.

From November 2026, Ian plans two sessions a month in Muirkirk: HUB drop-ins and workshops alternating with talks and training at the community rooms. General technology help, practical training and security awareness are part of the plan.
Once we have a fixed location, drop-ins will be available there. Talks and training will continue at the HUB or community rooms, with a monthly programme planned at that stage. More donated venue time or involvement can increase provision as resources allow.
We hope to start informal volunteer training over autumn and winter, and work with colleges and other organisations towards agreed placement and vocational qualification routes. Those routes are aims, not confirmed or accredited provision.
